You are probably kind, polite and caring person, aren’t you? But how often do you do good deeds that demand really adventurous temper qualities?
I’m going to challenge you to make good deeds for at least two weeks week: every day make surprises or gifts, help others for free and learn to tell people how important they are for you. Fortunately, that’s not all.
Besides your everyday «kind duties» you have to make even bigger deals. For your comfort I am leaving here a list of good deeds, which you may follow or use to make another one, more suitable, for yourself:
Сook for the homeless. It may be chicken curry, rice and chips, for example, like in the story of a Ballyfermot man. Take unnecessary items to a nursing home. Bring some goodies to work (preferably your own cooking) and feast your colleagues. Feed stray dogs or cats. Give the homeless a bag with groceries. Take out the garbage in the front garden, yard, on your favorite lake or any other polluted place. Make a thing for your beloved one. It should be really important for her/him. Make a nice birdhouse and hang it in the place where you like to walk. Plant a tree or flowers, if it’s warm enough. Clean the snow from your neighbor’s road or car, if it’s cold. Take old toys in good condition to the orphanage. Bring food and toys to the animal shelter. Give your profits to charity. Help endangered species, send money to disease research, or both. Give blood. Call the person you are feeling sorry for and apologize.
The simplest truth is that the one who does good deeds turns out to be really happy. It is enough to answer “yes” to requests for help and you will find the most incredible adventures in your life.
